Skipper Alex Meredith is convinced his Haywards Heath side are raring to go as Sussex stages a clutch of key league games tomorrow.

Heath look to bounce back from defeat at Southend as they tackle improving London Nigerians at Whitemans Green.

There are also intriguing contests at Worthing, Eastbourne, Hastings and Shoreham, all with a big bearing on title issues.

Heath have been almost invincible on home turf in recent years but could face a test againts a Nigerians outfit who have already beaten leaders Southend this season.

Meredith said: "They have got some university boys back and it will be a tough game.

"We had a good hard but fun session on Monday night.

"We did some speed drills and some one-on-one and two-on-one and it gave everyone a lift."

Nick Dinsdale strained an Achilles tendon in training so Rick Ure returns in the second row.

Flanker Tom Hills is also back while Nick Killick takes his turn at hooker. The backs are unchanged.

Worthing's home tussle with Gosport and Fareham in London Two South is a four-pointer as the Sussex side look to extend their perfect league record.

Tim Lucas is back at hooker after recovering from a virus while Sean Bennett replaces absent prop Raynn Bruce.

Gosport have had as many as 12 first teamers unavailable for recent games but are coming back to strength.

The winners of Eastbourne's home game with Brighton could be on top of London Three South East tomorrow night, providing Dartfordians slip up at home to Tonbridge Juddian.

Four South East leaders Chichester will be be expected to extend their long unbeaten home record at home to Old Dunstonians while the Sussex One game of the day sees Hastings tackle Uckfield with one of the 100 per cent records sure to fall.

It is second versus top too at Shoreham in Sussex Three.
