What anti-dog feeling there is in Brighton and Hove.
I have a small cairn terrier and was walking her towards the West Pier. I immediately cleaned up any mess and deposited it in the bin.
A few yards along, she did a small wee on the stones. Suddenly, I had a bag thrust into my face by an irate woman.
She said: "Need a bag?" I asked her what for and she replied: "For the dog faeces."
I explained I had just cleared up after my dog and she replied: "We didn't see you."
With this attitude and Brunswick Square and Norfolk Square closed to dogs, is there nowhere we responsible dog-owners can walk our pets without receiving abuse?
