More than 1,800 Mid Sussex homes were left without power early this morning when a high-voltage overhead cable became damaged.
The blackout affected properties in the eastern part of Crawley and in Copthorne from 5.35am.
Some homes had been reconnected within half an hour and all had power restored by 7.20am.
