Chichester, Sussex's third club behind East Grinstead and Lewes, are looking for consistency as they open their Southern Premier campaign at home to Fareham.
Despite producing some tremendous performances at times last year, Chi still finished in the bottom half but optimism is growing among an unchanged squad as the new season starts.
Lewes travel to Oxford Hawks in National League division two with the same squad which lost 3-1 at Bowdon last week, although skipper Will Champness has hinted that there may be changes.
East Grinstead captain Ian Pattison is forced into making changes for their first home game of the season against Bowdon.
Kevin King (unavailable), Andrew Medcalf (knee) and David Litchfield (hamstring) are all out.
