Seven proved a lucky number for staff at Eastbourne accountants Ogilvie Booth Coles.

All seven employees taking a wide range of exams passed and several are now working towards the next stage of their qualifications.

Former Park College, Eastbourne, student Chris Walter, 24, became a qualified chartered accountant after passing the final stage of his exams.

Newly-qualified certified accountant Stuart Murray, 25, passed the final stage of his certification exams after completing a course at Brighton University.

Andrew Westlake and Matthew Reynolds, who have been studying in London, are now part-qualified and due to take their final certified exams in December.

Lauren Marshall, 18, passed the foundation stage and Daniel Kirk, 20, gained the intermediate stage of the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification after studying on day-release courses at Hastings College and Sussex Downs College.

Natalie Doughty, 20, passed her accountancy A-Level after completing her day-release course at Sussex Downs.

The seven staff have worked for Ogilvie Booth Coles for between one and seven years.
