A pensioner has been killed in an accident involving a lorry as she crossed a village road in West Sussex.
Police were today investigating the cause of the crash, which happened at 11.40am yesterday in Shoreham Road, Small Dole, near Henfield.
The 29-year-old lorry driver was not hurt.
Police have not revealed the identity of the woman who died.
