The parking problems for both disabled and able-bodied swimmers at Wadurs swimming pool in Shoreham have been ongoing since the beginning of the year.
To date, the gate and access have not been completed. We still have to try to park outside the pool.
I had to return home last week because the two disabled bays were full. The shopkeepers are also complaining that cars are parking outside their premises for too long.
I have motor neurone disease and need the exercise twice a week in the Aqua Sessions.
I have managed to find some information. Barry Newman is corporate director of the leisure and direct services department at Adur District Council.
There has been a dispute between Tim Ivamy, the senior building surveyor of the council and the contractor, which does not help us.
The gate is there but in the wrong position, causing the dispute.
