On behalf of my colleagues in the Liberal Democrats, I want to put on record our thanks for the way Brighton and Hove looked after our delegates and guests during our conference week.
We had a tremendous time. Thank you to the hoteliers, bars, pubs, restaurants, taxi drivers, conference centre team and all those who helped in giving our delegates a pleasant stay.
We will be returning next year and have already made a series of bookings until 2008.
Delegates often say Brighton and Hove is their favourite conference venue. I am pleased to say, once again, the city didn't let us down.
