I refer to an article some time ago about the surname Hogsflesh (The Argus, May 18), following the death of an 88-year-old Eastbourne woman, Annie Hogsflesh.
The Sussex Family History group need fear no longer that this famous Sussex surname has reached the end of its line because I would like to assure them I am very much alive and kicking and hoping to proudly bear my name in Sussex for a good many years to come.
