Health officials will meet this week to decide the fate of breast cancer treatment in Brighton and Hove.
Will they decide to move the service to Haywards Heath or keep it in the city, a move backed by more than 30,000 readers of The Argus?
When the two trusts meet on Friday, members should remember the case of Ruth Sizeland.
The 61-year-old points out that the majority of people using the cancer unit come from the city.
She says the prospect of travelling to Haywards Heath and back for treatment would be horrible.
There are obviously many factors to be taken into consideration by those people who have been charged with making the decision.
But it is the people who use the service who are most important and the message is clear - keep it in the city where it belongs.
