Neil Linford hopes to complete a hat-trick of victories on Sunday.

The Brighton light-heavyweight and Hove stablemate Chill John have contests on the undercard of the WBU Inter Continental title clash between Mark Baker and Radcliffe Green at the Elephant and Castle.

Linford, 24, takes on Paul Bonson, 30, from Featherstone in a six-round bout, his third for Ronnie Davies who trained former world champion Chris Eubank.

He said: "I am viewing the fight as my final warm-up before taking on the winner of Baker and Green myself for the title in October, if all goes to plan.

"I moved down to Brighton from Leicester in the New Year to seek some new tactics and approach after losing a fight for the British and Commonwealth title "Ronnie's been brilliant. He seems to rate me. It's worked out well."

Linford, who has won 14 out of 18 bouts, beat Ally Forbes in a six-rounder and stopped the experienced Tony Booth in the fifth of a scheduled eight rounds in his opening bouts for Davies.

He had an unsuccessful fight for the IBO Inter Continental title last year.

Davies said: "I have very high hopes of Neil. The match against either Baker and Green will be an eliminator for the WBU world title itself."

Lightweight John meets Jason Hall.

The British Masters super-middleweight title clash between Southampton's Matthew Barney and Paul Owen from Sheffield tops the bill.
