As an "oldie" who has read of the failure of the police in responding to calls to attend a cornered intruder and a nasty attack by an intruder, I wonder what excuse a spokesman will give if one is unlucky enough to corner the Scottish murderer Richard Crawford who is reported to be in the Brighton area?
