A stirring second half performance gave Eastbourne Borough a 4-0 victory over Dartford at Priory Lane in the Dr Martens League eastern division.

Borough have now scored seven goals in their opening two games and still retain a clean sheet.

Dartford completely fell apart after having goalkeeper Craig Tucker sent off in the 59th minute.

Home striker Scott Ramsay was left pole-axed in the area by the keeper's elbow and skipper Daren Pearce's penalty made it 2-0.

After surviving heavy early pressure, Borough took the lead in the 38th minute with a stunning 20 yarder from Matt Crabb.

But once the second goal had gone in and Dartford were down to ten men, Garry Wilson's men tore the Kent team to shreds.

Matt Allen sidefooted home John Westcott's cross from the right to make it 3-0 in the 72nd minute.

Seven minutes later, Dave Adams wound up the scoring, converting fellow sub Mark Goodwin's cross with his first kick of the game.

A controversial sending off cost St Leonards dear as they lost 2-1 defeat at Tonbridge Angels.

Manager Glyn White said: "The ref was terrible, he kept making bad decisions and we were punished for it. There is no doubt we lost because of the ref."

Tonbridge dominated the first half with St Leonards keeper Peter Newstead pulling off a number of fine saves to keep the visitors in the game.

The deadlock was finally broken when a Nick Barnes shot took a wicked deflection in the 43rd minute to give Tonbridge a half time lead.

Dave Fisher equalised a minute after the break with a superb finish to bring St Leonards back into the game but Gavin Ramsden got his marching orders for a second bookable offence in the 65th minute.

After that St Leonards never looked in the game and a 74th minute Steve Portway volley condemned them to defeat.
