Five organisations are set to get a cash windfall after a Songs Of Praise service was held in Mid Sussex.
A collection at the service outside of the Church of the Ascension in Haywards Heath raised £220 which will be shared out between Court Meadow School, Heron's Ghyll Riding, the Inside Out Trust, the Ashenground Residents Association and the Ascension Pre-School Playgroup.
The service, conducted by the Reverend Tim Stead, attracted a congregation of about 200 and followed the format of the Sunday evening television programme.
