People who think they are posh did not like the name of The Bricky in Peacehaven.
They wanted it changed to Field View Close to sound less common.
But, by a narrow vote, residents in the street have decided to keep the name, which comes from a local brickworks.
It's a victory for common men and women and it's far more distinctive than the alternative.
