Thisisbrightonandhove has scooped the web site of the year award in the Regional Press Awards.
We beat off stiff competition from BBC Devon, thisisYork, thisisWiltshire, Kent Online and last year's winners EDP24.
Web Producer Nigel Davies-Patrick said he was delighted at the accolade.
He said: "We have an excellent hard-working team and it is great that their efforts have been recognised at last."
Our five-strong web team provides the leading source of online information for Sussex and the site gets over a million page impressions a month.
The awards were announced today at a gala dinner at the Hilton Hotel, London.
