Sean Hamerton (Letters, June 28) is incorrect when he says there have been "no injuries related to model aircraft" on Mill Hill.
A few years ago, I was hit in the face by a model air-craft while walking there. I needed a trip to casualty and a stitch to a rather nasty cut as a result.
Accidents do happen and, fortunately, my injuries weren't more serious or more permanent. However, there would appear to be room for more care and consideration by some of the model flyers and certainly less complacency by Mr Hamerton.
