A driver faced Brighton magistrates on four charges in connection with a fatal road accident.
Leighton Long, 21, of Netherfield Green, Woodingdean, will appear in court again on June 25 accused of careless driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, and having no test certificate or insurance.
Michael Tugwell, 25, of Cowley Drive, Woodingdean, died from head injuries received when a car in which he was a passenger was in collision with two parked vehicles in Cowley Drive in October last year.
