There will be no hiding place at Arlington Stadium tomorrow night

That's the message from Eastbourne boss Jon Cook ahead of the live TV showdown between Eagles and Elite League championship rivals Wolverhampton.

Cook said: "We are talking here about the two class teams in the league. It's too close to call, and there will be nowhere for anyone to hide in this one."

The Sussex outfit will be gunning for revenge after they led by eight points with four races to go at Wolverhampton two weeks ago but were beaten 47-43.

That remains only Eastbourne's second defeat of the season in a dozen league and cup matches, while Wolves have lost only once and drawn three times in 12 matches.

The men Eagles have to fear at Arlington are the high-flying Swedish brothers, Mikael and Peter Karlsson.

Peter Karlsson scored 20 points from seven rides when the teams met at Monmore Green, while Mikael, who missed that match through injury, is above him in the averages.

A key battle will be at reserve, where Eastbourne currently have David Norris up their sleeve, and Wolves parade the inspirational Daniel Nermark, who has hit double-figure payouts in the last three matches.

"David's form will be crucial. If he is on song, we won't be afraid to use him as a replacement for anyone in the team," said Cook.

Statistics don't lie, and Eagles know they will have a fight on their hands.

In their last two matches, Wolves have hammered Coventry 53-37 and demolished Oxford 61-29.

The Sussex side may be without Dean Barker and that is a major concern for Cook. "Deano aggravated a knee injury when he crashed with Jason Crump at Belle Vue on Monday and was in so much pain the next morning that he pulled out of his meeting in Sweden."

Eastbourne: Mark Loram, Toni Svab, Joe Screen, Dean Barker, Stefan Andersson, Savalas Clouting, David Norris.

Wolves: Mikael Karlsson, David Howe, Peter Karlsson, Jesper B. Jensen, Paul Hurry, Daniel Nermark, Lee Dicken.

The start is at 7.30.
