A thief snatched jewellery from a 77-year-old woman in her Worthing home.
The pensioner answered the door to a man who came into her hall and grabbed the jewellery she was wearing.
He fled and was last seen running along Goldsmith Road.
The robber was a plump white man aged between 35 and 45. He was wearing dark clothes.
The incident happened at 2.15pm on May 1.
