Rock band Delirious?, who have toured with Bon Jovi, are returning to their Sussex roots to headline a free concert in June.

The Christian band, whose members come from Littlehampton and Rustington, are returning to Littlehampton to perform a free concert as part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations in the town.

The band have had two Top 20 singles and have recently returned from a tour of America.

Delirious have agreed to perform at the Big Day Out on June 4 at Littlehampton's seafront green.

Arun District Council's events services officer Phil Graham said: "The boys can't wait to meet local fans again for their ten-year anniversary."

The free concert will end with a fireworks display on Littlehampton beach at 10pm.

The first firework will be set off by Arun's cabinet member for leisure, Oliver Wingrove, who said he hoped the whole town would get involved in the events.

The event has been organised by Arun's leisure services and is just one of hundreds scheduled to take place within the district during the summer.

Free copies of the summer events diary will be available from May 27 at the Arun Civic Centre, Bognor Town Hall, the Windmill entertainment complex, libraries, leisure centres and visitor centres across the Arun district.
