Boss Peter Taylor was forced to make two changes as Albion went for the win they needed to be sure of the Division Two title.

Welshman Nathan Jones and Daniel Webb, available again after a two-match ban, both returned to the starting line-up at Withdean.

Jones came in for the unfortunate Gary Hart, who broke his left leg at Peterborough last Saturday.

Webb partnered Bobby Zamora, with Lee Steele starting a three-match suspension.

There was also a return to the bench for former Southend and Hull midfielder David Lee.

Swindon made two changes to the team which won 2-1 at demoted Cambridge United on Tuesday.

Bobby Howe and Alan Reeves relegated Steve Robinson and Paul McAreavey to the replacements.

Albion ace Bobby Zamora was presented with the play-of-the-season award for the second year running before the match.

Albion were given a balloon filled, flag-waving welcome after promotion was assured by Reading's 2-2 draw at Tranmere last Sunday.
