The closing date for applications for temporary road closures for the Queen's Golden Jubilee is drawing closer in the Wealden district.
All applications should be sent to Wealden Council by Monday, April 22, in order to be processed in time.
Each application takes an average of six weeks to process so any received after this date will not be processed in time for the Golden Jubilee weekend celebrations in June.
The council does not charge for processing applications for road closures but it is the applicant's responsibility to obtain relevant insurance and road signage.
