My first visit to the Brighton Dome was a disappointment.
The foyer looked shoddy and cheap. White walls, stark white lighting, white plastic bar counters and paper tablecloths.
The ladies' toilets had stainless steel animal troughs as hand basins.
The theatre is beautiful and needs an elegant entrance of soft lights and colours.
