Developers are in trouble after they provided the roof to a custody centre at Durrington in Worthing, in the wrong shade of green.
They are in breach of planning regulations by making it lighter than councillors had intended.
If Worthing Borough Council insists on their replacing it at a cost of £25,000, directors' faces may be the same colour as the roof.
