A young motorcylist was today in hospital after a collision with a car on a busy main road.
The 20-year-old biker was travelling south in St Helen's Road, Hastings, when his Kawasaki was in collision with a Rover 420.
He was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings following the crash just after 8pm last night. His condition was stable today.
Police closed part of the road by Alexandra Park for more than three hours, carrying out inquiries.
The 34-year-old female driver of the car was also taken to the Conquest Hospital with facial cuts.
Neither victims, from Hastings and St Leonards, have been named.
