A bus driver had to drive to a police station when a passenger fell asleep and his dog would not let anyone near him.
The driver tried to stir the sleeping man but the rottweiler growled and snarled every time he approached.
He drove his bus to Brighton police station in John Street for help at 5pm yesterday.
A police dog handler boarded the bus, brought the dog under control and woke the passenger.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "The man was given advice about keeping his dog under control and was sent on his way."
