I have been wondering if Andy Fisher (The Argus, March 28) was at the same gig as me.
If he was, he wasn't listening closely enough.
What did The Christians give us? How about a million-selling first album with great pop/soul songs that still sound good today, including Ideal World, Forgotten Town and Hooverville?
Did he not hear the crafted harmonies, Garry Christian's distinctive and stunning vocal range and a cappella songs most of today's prefabricated bands would not dare attempt live?
So what if they have been missing for a few years? All the more reason to rejoice that the Prodigal Son, of which they sang, has returned. Sadly, it seems The Christians' message fell on Andy's deaf ears. It is he who should be thrown to the lions.
