A research project investigating employment, equality and the impact of de-unionisation is being carried out in Brighton and Hove, focusing on the gendered aspects of combining work and care responsibilities, vulnerability to discrimination and the effectiveness of mechanisms to address workers' concerns in the new, more flexible economy.

We would like to thank those who have contributed so far but would like to include more people in the study, especially from minority groups, for example, lesbian and gay workers.
