Award-winning novelist Nick Hornby will be reading from his new paperback during an evening with fans in Hove.
The author of books including Fever Pitch, High Fidelity and About A Boy will read passages from his new novel, How To Be Good, before answering questions from the audience and meeting people In the latest novel, Hornby takes a departure from his exploration of the male psyche by writing from a female perspective.
The book tells the story of Katie Carr, a doctor who struggles to cope during a mid-life crisis and her subsequent problems with her husband David, a newspaper columnist branded the angriest man in Holloway.
The readings will take place at The Old Market, Upper Market Street, Hove on April 8 at 6.30pm.
Tickets for the evening are on sale at City Books in Western Road, Hove, priced £3.50.
