During John Humphrys' TV programme on Sunday on the hostility towards the Government by most of the national Press and media, I was appalled to hear the editor of the Daily Mirror chillingly claim, "You can't beat the media", clearly implying it is more powerful than an elected government.
An inquiry into the ownership and management of our Press and media is long overdue if it is true we are in fact "governed" by unelected media moguls.
