Brighton and Hove is well-known for its cosmopolitan population and, as a French visitor, I feel comfortable and secure in the city.
Even if I meet eccentric or drunk people in the street, I don't feel threatened.
This also applies on the well-organised transport system. People here respect others. When you step on to a pedestrian crossing, the car will stop long before so you feel safe, unlike in many other European countries.
I have enjoyed my stay in your country and hope to return again very soon.
