A motorcyclist has been killed in a hit-and-run accident on the A272 in West Sussex.
The 25-year-old victim came off his Triumph machine at Stedham, near Midhurst, around 9pm yesterday.
He was then struck by a vehicle described by witnesses as a four-wheel drive type.
It left the scene without stopping.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact their traffic base at Chichester on 0845 6070999.
