Charles Goode (Letters, February 6) is being unfair about Brighton and Hove City Council's Celebrating Diversity initiative by terming it a "stunt".
It is clearly more wide-ranging than he suggests, for in a display of books relating to it in Hove Library, I saw a copy of the Diaries by Alan Clark, that unashamed rou with a taste for fast cars, faster women and... Mrs Thatcher.
