Baby clothes with slogans including "Made in Brighton" and "Blame the Parents" are raising a smile among young mums.

Natalie Cronin, 33, started making the colourful clothes for her daughter Clara but they proved such a hit other parents asked her to make similar outfits for their youngsters.

Demand is now so high, Natalie is in full production creating outfits with such slogans as, "My Daddy's Rich and My Mama's Good Looking" and "Fairly Hip Kid".

Natalie, a single mother, finds making the garments a perfect way to combine building up a business with looking after Clara at her home in Eridge Road, Hove.

Natalie, a politics graduate, said "I initially made the outfits for Clara but lots of friends and mothers asked me to make more. I sold some from the West Pier in the summer."

The designs are selling well at shops in Brighton and she is taking orders from home. For details call 07985 528788.
