The residents of a West Sussex bungalow were homeless today after flames ripped through their home.
Firefighters battled the blaze in The Street, Thakeham, near Storrington, for almost three hours.
Crews from Storrington, Horsham, Petworth and Steyning fire stations attended the blaze, at about 5.46am on Saturday.
A fifth of the house was severely damaged by fire and the remainder by smoke.
West Sussex Victim Support Unit, which provides advice, comfort and a place to shelter for victims of fire, was quickly on the scene.
No one was injured and firefighters are investigating the cause of the blaze.
