Singer Dina Carroll has been forced to cancel her show at the Brighton Centre next weekend.
The soul diva, whose hits include Perfect Year, has had to reschedule dates for her winter tour due to a "personal issue".
The majority of shows around the UK will now take place in May but fans in Sussex will be disappointed as it has not been possible to fix a new date for Brighton.
A spokesman for the singer said: "Dina is incredibly disappointed she is unable to perform in the UK this month.
"This is the first time she has been unable to undertake a touring commitment but hopes her fans will understand she will not be able to go on the road before Christmas."
Anyone who has bought a ticket for the December 15 show can obtain a refund from the point of purchase.
