I am dismayed local MPs are against the idea of a National Park for the Downs.
Other than the political sway they will lose and the fact they are ignoring a public request, I can only see one answer for the public.
When you next go to the polls, make your decision at the ballot box.
I should imagine those in authority who voted against the park will be feeling very uncomfortable with an uncertain future ahead of them.
