Sam Webb led a clean sweep for Crawley girls when she won under-17s event on her home course in the second Sussex Cross Country League match.

She was the only athlete to repeat victory from the first fixture at Goodwood in October and won by 49 seconds.

Having taken the lead at the start of the two-mile race Sam, impressive at 3,000m in the Southern Women's League during the summer, brought her track form to the competition.

She was followed by former Roedean girl Yolly Prebble, who made an impressive League debut, finishing ahead of experienced Hayley Stanton (Crawley).

Danielle Christmas (under-15s) and Dominic Daly (under-13s) completed the whitewash.

Daly won from clubmate Emily Goodall.

Crawley athletes notched up four individual victories with Darren Tremble taking the boys' under-13s' race.

In the boys' under-17 three-mile race, Craig Ivemy (Hailsham) turned the tables on Lee Emanuel (Hastings) who beat him at Goodwood.

Ivemy, in his first year at the age group, won by 50m from Emanuel. Tom Bilham (Chichester) won the boys' under-15s race, gaining revenge over Rowan James (Phoenix) who beat him at Goodwood
