How sad I feel for Shuhebur Rahman, whose restaurant was vandalised (The Argus, November 3), and for all Muslims who are suffering attacks.

Osama bin Laden is no more representative of Islam than the IRA and Loyalist paramilitaries are of Catholic and Protestant faiths.

When I worked with Bangladeshi children in a mosque, I felt privileged to share in another faith.

The Koran says if you kill one person you kill the world. Christians are commanded not to kill and to pray for enemies. Our enemies are terrorists.

Jews, Muslim and Christians can pray together to the one God, for we are his children and share the human condition.
