The Sussex Downs Conservation Board says the new stadium at Falmer will be seen from Ditchling Beacon. What is wrong with that?
The stunning, breathtakingly designed stadium will look magnificent and will improve an area that contains the A27, the railway line, the large tin shed of the fitness centre and the universities.
The stadium will act as a shining beacon as people come to see one of the finest sporting temples in the land and the nearest one to a main line railway station in the country.
So very environmentally-friendly.
