An Eastbourne hotel has won a coveted industry award for its comfort and facilities.
Managers at The Grand Hotel on Eastbourne seafront picked up the Conde Nast award for Most Excellent Coastal Hotel 2002 at The Dorchester in London.
A Conde Nast spokesman said: "The hotel is steeped in history with the charm and splendour of the Victorian era.
"It offers a superb level of comfort and outstanding leisure facilities, not to mention a diverse variety of restaurants."
