I missed William Fraser's letter, referred to by Graham Chainey, but would like to comment on "Price of sin" (Letters, October 29).
Disabled people live with the legacy of such fables every day in the form of prejudice and discrimination. Stories such as these may make the non-disabled and non-diseased feel better about themselves but they create and fuel the oppression of disabled people.
