Ivor Challis (Letters Extra, October 24) asked why I was photographed holding models of dinosaurs Mamenchisaurus and Baronyx.
Actually, it was a bit of fun.
Hilary Armstrong and Lord Bassam had described opponents of a directly-elected mayor as "dinosaurs".
The No campaigners were not put off by name-calling and treated it light-heartedly.
