It never ceases to amaze me the number of so-called patriots who do not know the correct way to fly our national flag.
The broad white diagonal should be uppermost nearest the flagpole.
To fly the flag upside down is an insult to the Crown. It also a sign of distress.
Can this have any reflection on some results at international sporting events?
