Councillor Susan Joy has to be congratulated for bringing attention to the lack of care and stimulation of elderly and infirm people in local hospitals (October 11).
It is obscene the Government will readily spend millions of pounds on punishing a backward country for allowing terrorists to hide there, yet lack of adequate care for the elderly and infirm here is not deemed an emergency.
