A man who broke his leg after falling 24ft down the moat of Eastbourne's Redoubt Fortress is recovering at home.
Colin Potts, 30, of Hailsham, was found at the bottom of the moat of the 200-year-old fortress in Royal Parade yesterday.
Firefighters rescued Mr Potts, 30, after a member of the public spotted his jacket.
They winched him to safety on a stretcher and he was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital.
