I thought Brighton and Hove City Council taking over responsibility for traffic wardens and implementing the residents' parking scheme would mean there was more money to spend on transport improvements.
Why is it, then, that bus services are being axed when all we keep hearing about is the great number of parking tickets that have been issued?
Surely this is not another bodged contract where all the profit goes to an external company?
Either we have been lied to or it is a case of incompetence - or perhaps both.
