Mickey Mouse and friends run amok in Mickey Saves the Day causing mayhem and chaos wherever they go.

The story line is a Disney classic. Big Bad Pete has taken over running a small town and kidnapped the mayor so Mickey is drafted in to the rescue.

The player can choose whether he wants to be Mickey or Minnie Mouse (perfect for experiments in cross-gender role play) and enjoy running around wildly with Donald Duck, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto.

The application has a mildly environmentally-aware feel to it with a frenetic section devoted to helping Goofy clean up the park.

Easy to play but hard to enjoy after a few minutes. I liked the idea of building Von Drake's flying machine and got into collecting all the bits needed to get the little chap airborne.

But removing a motorway from Donald Duck's house was too far-fetched.

I could not really identify who the game was aimed at and felt most kids could have lots more fun climbing trees and riding bikes.
