Hassocks are set to make sure fans benefit from their FA Cup windfall.

The Robins pocketed £7,500 at Ash United in midweek as their lively runners upset a big home side and set up an impressive 3-0 win.

There could be more prize money to come with Hassocks fancying their chances of an upset at home to out-of-sorts Ryman Division One outfit Bromley.

The cash will help pay for a £50,000 stand they are about to build along the southern touchline at their ground, near the dugouts.

Anyone who has ever stood out on the grass and mud on that windswept side of the ground will agree it is a timely development.

But then boss Dave John, with his policy of bringing through young players and encouraging a strong team spirit, was never likely to fritter the cash away on new signings.

John was impressed with his side's approach to their replay and praised 17-year-old goalkeeper Joel Harding, who made up for Saturday's mishaps with some superb first half saves.

He said: "We had a look at them on Saturday and realised we could run them around.

"I had a bit of an input but the players can see what is going on and they take the credit for how we played in the replay."

Looking ahead to Bromley's visit, John added: "We lost to them in a replay two years ago and we have beaten them in a friendly since then.

"When you consider the teams we could have got, I would say we have at least got a chance against Bromley."

While Hassocks celebrated, Horsham YMCA had mixed emotions from their replay defeat at Thame.

Boss John Suter was delighted with the display but felt Dean Potter was hard done by when he was sent-off for a professional foul.

Thame took advantage to win 2-0 with two late goals in a tie which was featured by Sky Sports as part of their ongoing FA Cup feature.

Suter and some of his players were interviewed after both the replay and Saturday's 0-0 draw at Gorings Mead.

The YM boss said: "Sky made us feel very at ease and the players loved the attention.

"But it was a harsh experience for us. We were unlucky to lose and the money from the replay will not cover our coach hire to get to the game."

Former Horsham boss John Yems is taking charge of the side this week while Suter enjoys a week's holiday.

Wick boss Carl Stabler is reaping the benefits of Lee Weston's fitness mission.

The talented wideman has scored four times in two games after being loaned out by Worthing to gain match fitness.

Rebels boss Sammy Donnelly rates Weston highly but Stabler admitted: "I would love to keep him.

"We are playing him as a left winger and he is doing well, but you can see he needs games. He has spent too long sitting on the bench."

Wick have taken 13 points from their last five games to emerge as title contenders but face a stiff test at Pagham on Tuesday.

Stabler admitted: "It's always a bit fiery when we go down there."

Littlehampton boss Andy Taylor insists he is not worried by his side's position in the drop zone.

Taylor said: "This time last year we were leaking goals and not playing well.We are playing quite well in the league and not getting what we deserve."

Taylor is chasing new recruits, notably for central midfield and the forward line.
